It’s in rough shape right now, but it’s a dream come true.
This monster came home with me in March 2022. It’s an Elwood 8×10 enlarger. It’s 6′ high, and can print from 8×10 negatives.
Changes are Afoot
I am looking to move my darkroom from the spare bathroom into the little storefront in the front of the house, which is where this picture is taken. It will become a combination darkroom / photography studio (hopefully) within a year.
I’m looking forward to getting back to optical printing. It’s time.
Stay tuned. I will post more about the rehabilitation of this enlarger, and the transformation of this space into the new darkroom.
