In 2011 I finally got off of the night shift. The only downside to this was that I was not going to be doing as much night photography. I had been working on an exhibit called, well… The Night Shift. I had taught myself night photography with 8×10 film cameras and endless hours in the darkroom getting my developing times correct. This is one of my last night images from that time. I think it turned out quite well.
I had taken to venturing farther afield in the latter days of the project, and Hood River fit the bill. This is just outside of Hood River, in a little town called Pine Grove.
Camera: Deardorff 8×10
Lens: 300mm Nikkor-W
Film: Ilford HP5+ developed in PMK Pyro
I am still trying to get a new darkroom going. Maybe soon.
